When you are install windows 8 if it error media driver is missing then dont worry about it.

After downloading this driver copy to pen drive and install during windows error.

    Hi did nothing for me just kept saying same error even after rescan via usb pen drive

    Looks like it worked for me. Strangely it didn't even ask for driver. It just went on with the installation.

    I downloaded the drivers. Unzipped them and saved in a new folder called "Media" on the root directory of the USB.
